In our spiritual reading today, we read about “The Relations between Members” in Chapter 33 of the Handbook. Catholics today do not understand the value of being a Christian. They are arrogant, complacent, opinionated, etc. which often affect the group as a whole. Just as those people who made unprovoked and unreasonable complaints about the higher council, which influenced the Cardinal/Bishop’s impression on the group. Members should respect each other, if there is any problem, they can express it but not in their own individual interest. We should let the Bishop and other people understand that the Legion of Mary is a spiritual organization, there is a need for its existence in the Church. The number of members of this organization is more than any other groups in the Church. The persistent prayers and services offered by the Legionaries edify the core value of unity of Christians. We hope that each member of the Legion of Mary will serve with sincerity and not selfishness, the latter of which is the reason for the shrinking of our community.
